Rare Antique Elliott Brother’s pocket compass, London, Pre WWI. Compass is in good working order, it has a mother of pearl dial. Compass has an original leather case with brass clipping and hinges on it, some bruises on leather case, there are minor scratch on brass portions of compass and minute black color loss on dial as it is too old, overall condition of MOP dial is intact and good. Compass has a nice dial locking mechanism which can be operated by turning the knob clock and anti clock wise. These type of pocket compass were given to soldiers as there is a military marking at the back of compass. It is indeed a rare collectible and a genuine piece hard to find, would be a great addition to any Antique compass collection and a must for old Militaria item collector’s..
