RARE Antique Indian Book Sanskrit Manuscript On Paper Ca 1600-1800’s AD B

This manuscript is beautifully written paper. This booklet consist of several pages (study photos). It is very crudely made. This is made on a frail and fragile paper. The paper has some tears, holes, and damage. It is in overall rough condition with several blemishes from age. The pages are torn and falling apart, they have holes, some are stuck together, and many more blemishes are throughout. This is a low grade piece. It would be a perfect specimen for framing, or displaying. Its artistic calligraphic style is a beautiful example of early Indian calligraphic pieces. It is also value priced! This would be a great addition to any collection! Don’t pass it up! Be sure to check over the details and look at all of the photos so you will know exactly what you’ll get! Please note from the photos the binding. Some of my booklets are unbound, string bound, or a similar binding method. This piece is loose bound (almost unbound). RARE Antique Large 20 Indian Chief PYROGRAPHY Folk Art Wall Plaque 1890s

Offered here is a wonderful antique circa 1890 very large 20 pyrography, Wood Burned Native American Indian Chief wall plaque. This is a large round expertly wood burned plaque of an Indian Chief in full headdress. It is accented in a dark brown paint or stain on parts of the headdress, robe and necklace. There is picture wire on the back and it is ready to hang and display. This is sure to please any pyrography collector. This is even large enough to use as a table top. Rare c1900 Antique Anglo Indian Carved Lion Dragon Table Lamp 24.5 tall

Rare c1900 Antique Anglo Indian Carved Lion Dragon Table Lamp 24.5 tall. 24.5 tall to top of the bulb holder. With a base diameter of 8.75tal. The lion dragon of fire and smoke sits there to guard his kingdom and brings wisdom and great wealth to those who use this symbol. This light stand is specially designed to illuminate the darkness with its wisdom and give the interior greatness.. Appears to be carved from walnut wood which is an aesthetic and exquisite craft process that is distinctive to Kashmir due to the concentration of walnut trees in Kashmir. In the 15th Century, Sultan Zain ul Abidin, was a great benefactor of the arts and crafts and is considered as the pioneer of this art. During his Elysian reign, he went to Samarkand the capital of central Asian culture and brought with him many astute craftsmen to Kashmir. These craftsmen trained the local Kashmiris with such skills that became one of the most renowned handicrafts industry in the world. Superb quality piece with amazing detail not seen today. The lion dragon has inset cabouchon eyes with maybe a later edition to his nostrils… With the lower dragon around the base having later jewelled eyes. In overall very good condition. Though has a loss on one of his horns at the back…. Nothing major, but noted and does not detract from this exceptional fine rare carving. Has been recently rewired/earthed and takes a large bayonet bulb(not included) with on/off switch at bulb holder. Has a good weight of around 2.487 kilos unwrapped. Will display superbly in any period or contemporary setting. Has marks hear and there, odd nibble. All photos taken in good daylight and indoors. Stunning when displayed from all angles. Up for sale an original Indian mughal box 19th century or early 20th century. The body with eight curved edge panels decorated with scrolling floral vine and royal family scenes. On top a large image of a royal scene, these hand painted figures are derived from Illustrations from a Manuscript of the Rasikapriya of Kesava Das – Mughal Period during the early 17th century. Measures 12″ L X 8.5″ W X5 H. Box is in good condition consistent with age, missing paint on parts of artwork, please check the pictures for condition. Rare piece of art for collectors.
